Introduction

 
The Type O fills the gap exposed when a window or door frame is removed, (for replacement) from a cavity wall that has not been ‘closed’. Type O polypropylene closer DPC fits a variety of cavity widths. The compressible O section holds the moulding in place, permitting introduction in a variety of cavity sizes from 20mm to 100mm. The soft body O section supports two projecting wings, which travel against the reveal face of the external leaf and the internal leaf. The DPC is established in its correct position, functioning between frame and external leaf, and between external leaf and internal leaf. The new window or door frame effectively covers the cavity as it is introduced into the original mid-position.
