Introduction to Damp Proofing

Damp Proofing

Coneslate

Use
To weatherproof where a soil pipe penetrates a pitched roof of tiles, slates or contoured sheet.

Introduction
The Coneslate is manufactured from milled lead, with a tapered rising pipe sleeve. The shape permits the Coneslate to be used on a vareiety of roof pitches from 20 degrees up to 40 degrees. Use of Coneslate eliminates the necessity for the contractor/plumber to purchase a conventional slate of a specific pitch. The tapered shape is also beneficial in terms of easy telescopic storage and reduction in the accompanying risk of damage. This 30 degree Coneslate has an angle tolerance of plus or minus 10 degrees, thus accomodating pitches for 20 degrees to 40 degrees.
