Cavity Trays wins at the Housebuilder 2011 Awards

Cavity Trays has won best product at the Housebuilder 2011 awards for The Continuity Closer.

The product overcomes a shortfall in Building Regulations, occurring when constructing cavity walls with partial fill insulation retained against the cavity face of the inner skin.

The cutting of the insulation running into and from an opening is often poorly done, leading to gaps where the inner skin is visible and thus exposed to the air.

But the Continuity Closer eradicates the risk of poor insulation with it's stepped insulating core, closing the reveal cavity and extending further inwardly to make contact with the adjacent cavity insulation. The direct heat loss path is sealed off.
